Celtic Healthcare awards first Servant Leadership Award to Gail Blaum

Congratulations to Gail Blaum, Hospice Administer, on receiving Celtic’s first Servant Leadership Award.

Gail’s servant leadership has been instrumental in the success of our operations in Northeastern PA.  Gail’s commitment to building relationships based on trust is one fo the many reasons for her success.

Mike Elias adds:  “It is said that those men and women who feel the most refreshed at the end of their work day are those that approach their work as their vocation in life.  Vocation is defined as a strong impulse or inclination to follow a particular activity or career.  Serving others as a nurse and a healthcare professional for her entire life, Gail exemplifies her work as her vocation and as a servant leader.  I have had the rewarding experience of learning from her for almost 30 years.  As a servant leader, she is worthy of three to four ‘reallys!’  She is really, really, really, really committed to leadership by serving others.”

Gail will receive a gift card and a leadership book of her choice.  Celtic will also donate $500 to Gail’s charity of choice.  As Servant Leaders at Celtic Healthcare, we recognize our responsibility to not only serve our team members, but also our communities in acts of corporate social responsibility.  We encourage our team members to be involved in philanthropic and charitable community service, and we are happy to make this donation in honor and recognition of special Servant Leaders like Gail.

Congratulations, Gail, and thank you for your Servant Leadership in leading Celtic’s future and helping our employees grow!
