Celtic Healthcare Named a TOP 100 Homecare Agency

Celtic Healthcare has been chosen as one of the 2008 HomeCare Elite™'s Top 100.  The 2008 HomeCare Elite™ is the compilation of the most successful homecare providers in the United States and is published by OCS and DecisionHealth^, which are both leaders in the healthcare information solutions industry.  This ground-breaking review names the top 25% of those agencies whose performance measures in quality, improvement and financial performance are the best.  The Top 100 of these agencies are recognized separately as the "best of the best".

In order to create the list of HomeCare Elite agencies, OCS used publicly available data from Home Health Compare and the CMS Cost Reports.  Three domains of performance were included in the calculation of the score – Quality of Care, Quality Improvement, and Financial Performance.

Each agency’s performance in each of the three domains was compared against the performance of other organizations in their state and in the country.  The three domains were combined into one overall score, using a weighting methodology that gives the greatest importance to Quality of Care.

Celtic Healthcare Opens Washington County Office

Celtic Healthcare has been faithfully serving the Washington County area for over a year - and now, Celtic Healthcare can officially call Washington County home!

Due to the demand of Celtic Healthcare's wide array of home healthcare services, ranging from homecare nursing to rehabilitation to living assistance services to hospice and palliative care in the Washington area, Celtic Healthcare has recently opened up a regional Canonsburg office.  This office is to serve an administrative and support function to the growing field team in the Washington area.

In addition to the Canonsburg office, Celtic Healthcare will soon open a Perryopolis location, projected for March 1, 2009.  Both of these locations will help Celtic Healthcare play a larger role in the Mon Valley area.
