Celtic's Northeast Ohio Team Welcomes Senator Joe Schiavoni

Celtic Healthcare's HotMeals Delivery Team added a new member for the day - Senator Joe Schiavoni (D-33) joined Terri Zarlingo on her rounds to senior citizens' homes in the Youngstown area.

"We delivered meals to about 15 seniors and it was great to see the interaction between Terri and the recipients," Schiavoni said. "You could tell they were very appreciative and happy with the service provided."

Celtic's HotMeals program allows for senior citizens in Mahoning County to have access to healthy, prepared food. More than 4,500 meals are delivered each week. "Grocery shopping and preparing nutritious meals can become difficult with age," Schiavoni said. "HotMeals is just another example of quality service being offered to seniors in our valley."

LouAnn Orsini is Celtic's Customer Service Champion of the Month!
LouAnn Orsini, RN is being honored as January's Customer Service Champion of the Month. This award, which is determined from nominations by coworkers and managers, is a monthly initiative to reward great customer service.

While LouAnn was checking a patient in the hospital over the phone, she noticed a total change in mental status. She hung up and immediately called the nurse's station to alert them. The nurse agreed and said she did notice something different regarding the patient. The patient was transferred to the ICU. LouAnn's concern and caring for all of her patients is very remarkable.

Every patient continues to have a special place in LouAnn's heart and that's the main reason she's been seeing patients in the Western PA area over the past 15 years. According to LouAnn, "It is great to be able to develop a rapport with a patient and family and be able to take care of them year after year when they are sick." LouAnn's personal mission is to continue to stay disciplined and focused on her job.

Thank you LouAnn for consistently displaying EXTRAordinary customer service. It is with great pleasure that we honor you January's Customer Service Champion of the Month!
