Position: Hospice RN for In Patient Unit- (Midnight Shift)
Location/coverage Area: In patient unit, Dunmore
Position Description: Provides service and care to patients in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, agency policy, and accepted professional standards of practice. The Hospice IPU Registered Nurse is pivotal in identifying the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the patient/family. He/she is responsible for admitting the patient and for initiating and maintaining appropriate intervention and support for the patient and family via a fluid, appropriate, comprehensive and responsive care plan.
