Celtic Healthcare’s Hospice Volunteers provide an invaluable service to those who are nearing the end-stage of their lives and their family members.

Celtic Hospice Volunteers offer support in the following areas:

  • Companionship

  • Respite for caregivers

  • Running errands

  • Shopping

  • Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry)

  • Meal preparation

  • Transportation

  • Bereavement support

  • Emotional support

  • Assembling mailings and informational packets

  • Writing condolence cards

  • Special projects

Celtic Hospice Volunteers are fully trained to better support the patient and family members. Volunteers receive training in matters from medical issues to spiritual concerns to psycho-social issues to bereavement.

The Result:

A sacred outreach, providing Celtic Hospice patients with one more listening ear, helpful hand, and compassionate heart.
